I hate only being able to see two headlines at a time. I also couldnt care less about seeing video and there is no way to avoid having it shoved in ones face. But what would you expect from a news department who thinks sports is news.

The previous app was much more user-friendly and easy to read the articles. The new app is very annoying. Sure the print is easier to read but thats only thing that is appealing to me. I deleted the app from my phone. I cant be bothered looking through all the nonsense. The news team really needs to improve the writing of their articles and find someone who can proofread it before goes out to the public.

News stations dont ever go broke. Why have we sold out so much?!? Ive gone elsewhere to keep up with Tampa Bay.

I loved this app, up until the last update. This new layout is not very friendly, its like they just threw everything into one pot and there you go. Where as before you could select local, national or world news. But one thing is for sure, you certainly cant miss those ads. They are much bigger and everywhere now.

I used to like this Tampa news app but now, every time I use it, it does this thing where it AUTOMATICALLY "Clicks" on its own advertisement links and opens the App Store and tries to force me to download the Uber app!! What a PAIN! Also, ABC needs to hire copy editors because almost every news story is full of spelling and grammatical errors. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I have now deleted it. Dont be a victim!!

The new update is deplorable.

My ABC Action News App quit working and wanted me to download the "new" and improved app. It doesnt work. Good job ABC.

I love ABC Action News and this used to be my go to local news app, but this latest forced update wrecked the app for me. The new update is focused on ads, video and more ads. Gone is the nice horizontal swipe from article to article feature and you have to awkwardly close each new story on the top right side, to go to the next. Id gladly pay for a no ad version...!

I agree with all the other updates. It is cumbersome and very centered on advertising now. Plus you must login through Facebook or email and subject yourself to further intrusions. It is now being deleted and I will go look for a new app from a competing station.

I hate this update. It doesnt navigate well like the previous version. Too much scrolling. And perhaps the most frustrating part... I personally like to READ the news and 90% of these "articles" are videos of the news story. If I wanted to watch the video clips I would just watch the actual news. Deleting this app which is a shame because until now it was my only local news app.

I can no longer sort and find what interests me. One of my favorite things about the former way the app worked is that when I clicked on a notification re a story, it opened the story. Now it just opens the app and I try - often in vain - to locate the article that brought me to the app in the first place. App needs a major overhaul.

Feed is filled with national stories, entertainment news, and opinion pieces. Its hard to sort out the local news. I already have apps with national news I was hoping abc action news app would have more focus on local stories but I was disappointed that I couldnt even find a local news section at all.
