Nice layout and easy to read. You can find the stories you are looking for.

Newest version needs a fix..."news alerts" are breaking twice and showing twice in the Notification Center, approximately 30 - 60 seconds apart. This is getting annoying!!!

I have had this app for about a month, and I like it more than most local news apps (Ive lived in NY and FL). However, the stories are not edited very well (spelling and grammar), and the stories can be updated more often.

Notifications are pushing twice about a minute apart. Insanely annoying, deleting in favor of News Channel 8. Channel 8 app is great btw! Not too spammy and interesting push headlines. Sorry abc, I came back to check for an update but you havent posted it yet.

Most of the articles seem to have been published here in their "rough draft" phase. Very incomplete coverage of the news, like they didnt research anything about the event, they just wanted to get it out there quickly.

Not seeing updates anymore.

iPhone app works just fine and is easy to scroll through stories. iPad app not so much. They have taken half the screen and locked it on their choice of story leaving the bottom half for you to scroll through the rest.

With the last update my audio has dropped.

While this app provides newsworthy stories,it is really slow to bring latest especially on weekends

I was getting a lot of push notices and I like breaking news but didnt care about sports. Now I can choose what to see. Neat!

Great app for staying in the know about which Halloween costumes people find offensive. Also a great source for information on the kardashians, celebrity Twitter feuds, and what Donald Trump has said today. Theres also some local news thrown in every once in awhile.

The ABC Action News app purports to give us a live news feed, but it does not. After watching several ads, we see Replay News, presumably from a previous broadcast. The remainder of the app does offer file video of local news, weather, and printed stories. If we were allowed to see the live feed of the news as it is being broadcast, this would be an excellent app.

This app has been this way for a very long time now. You have gone through many many updates and have not fix this annoying problem of commercial videos ending and lag time beginning for up to a minute. It is inexcusable and shows that you pay no attention to your app because this problem has not been resolved in a very long time. Good luck with your app. Stop being irresponsible to your viewers.

I can only assume that ABS’s design brief for the developers read, “come up with an app that is difficult to scan through news items, laggy, badly designed and riddled with large adverts” Well done developers you have succeeded!

ABC Actions news was for years my favorite Tampa news app. The new update makes it my least favorite. Now I can only see one or two stories per screen shot. No more list of news stories I can look down and decide what I want to read. Now I have to scroll continuously to find what I want to read. I used to be able to double tap the news story to return to the home page. No more. Now I have to click the "x" in the right hand corner. No more scrolling to the right or left to get news from different areas such as local, national or other news topics. I dont mind improvements, but the change is not an improvement. I think they hired high school tech students to practice designing this app.

New version is awesome. Looks clean. Always updated. Video plays from the first screen. Takes me less clicks to get what I want. Lots of ads though.
